Damir Vodenicarevic holds a PhD focused on applying nanotechnology to accelerate on-chip AI. He spent four years at Treezor (Société Générale), where he worked on AI-driven fraud detection and played a key role in the design of the company’s in-house core banking system, with a specialization in KYC infrastructure.
In 2020, he co-founded Massa Labs, where he led the development from scratch of a custom consensus algorithm and a full Layer-1 blockchain. Under his leadership, Massa Labs grew into a fully bootstrapped software development company serving major clients such as Polygon, StarkWare, and leading family offices. The company delivers advanced software solutions ranging from custom AI models designed and trained in-house, to state-of-the-art zero-knowledge proof technologies, distributed systems, and high-throughput, privacy-preserving transaction engines.
He is now the CEO of Clehance Labs, a daughter company of Massa Labs, which builds on the deep technical expertise of the Massa Labs engineering team while adding strong capabilities in banking systems and regulatory compliance to create innovative solutions for digital finance.
